Brown Christmas Wrapping Paper
I have been wrapping my gifts with colorful, run of the mill Christmas paper my entire life. This year I wanted to do something different so I went on a mission to seek out some new ideas. I first saw a brown paper Christmas wrapping instructional video on YouTube and I fell in love with the idea.
Here are a few of my favorite ways to wrap your Christmas gifts with plain brown wrapping paper. I hope this article will inspire you to create beautiful gifts for your family and friends this year.
Using a rubber stamp, natural foliage and twine has a huge impact.
In this example they used pine cones, ribbon, plaid material, gold stickers and more. With all these elements the presents still remain understated and beautiful.
Another example of using items from nature. Truly elegant.
A step and repeat pattern makes this unique wrapping a fun thing you can do with your kids. Grandparents will love getting these gifts from their grand kids.
This is a great idea, wrapping a small portion of the gift with a colorful pattern paper really makes this idea fun and surprising.
Personalizing your gifts with large letters cut from colorful paper is a great way to show your love and attention to detail. This is the technique I am going to use this year. I can not wait to see their faces.
Utilizing different sizes and patterns of ribbon, this idea creates a bold look under the tree.
I love polka-dots and bows. I really like how just using a different color button brings this collection of gifts to life.
There are a ton of elements in this collection. I feel the person that put this together has a real eye for cohesive design. This stunning collection took a lot of time and it was well worth the effort.
Who knew you could take a brown sack and turn it into a gorgeous gift? This is a very classic look that can really be used all year round.
My daughter loves cutting out snowflakes around the holidays. Here is a cute way I could incorporate her art into gift giving. Also I love the yarn idea (see below).
My grandmother taught us girls how to crochet when we were very young. Here is another great project with yarn that I think the kids would enjoy seeing under the tree. Who doesn't love those little yarn balls?
